The Editors of the European Review of Agricultural Economics have chosen the Outstanding Journal Paper for 2023 and the winners of the Referee Awards. The 2023 Award for the ERAE Outstanding Journal Paper goes to Meilin Ma, Carson Reeling, Megan N Hughes, Shalamar Armstrong and Richard Roth for their paper entitled "Comparison of conservation instruments under long-run yield uncertainty and farmer risk aversion" The link to the winning paper can be found here:

The Referee Awards recognise the contribution of referees to the success and profile of the ERAE and, in a number of cases, the considerable value they add to papers that are finally published in the ERAE. In their selection procedure, the editors considered typical referee qualities as willingness to review, speed and content of the review in terms of relevance, exhaustiveness, constructiveness and consistency in follow-up.  The winners of the best referee award of 2023 are: Andreas Drichoutis, Martina Bozzola, David Spielman and Dimitrios Zompas.
